# Trial Guard – Terms of Service (DRAFT – owner to review before launch; not legal advice)
Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Who we are. Trial Guard is provided by [Owner legal name / company], [address], England & Wales. Contact: support@[domain].
2. The service. You forward subscription and free-trial emails to your personal Trial Guard address; we extract the details and email you a reminder before the next charge, with a link to the provider's official cancellation page. Trial Guard does not cancel subscriptions for you and is not affiliated with any provider listed.
3. No guarantee. Reminders depend on the emails you forward and automated extraction, which can be wrong or late. Always check dates and prices with the provider. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for charges made by third-party providers. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. Your account. Sign in is by single-use email link. Keep access to your email secure. Only forward emails you are entitled to share. Don't abuse the service (automated sign-in requests and inbound email are rate limited).
5. Free and Pro plans. The free plan tracks a limited number of subscriptions. Pro is a paid subscription at the price shown at checkout, billed by Stripe, renewing automatically until cancelled. You have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (contact support@[domain]). You can cancel Pro at any time; it ends at the end of the paid period.
6. Your data – export, delete, raw email deletion.
- Export: download all your data as JSON at any time from your dashboard.
- Delete: delete your account at any time from your dashboard; this permanently removes your data and cancels any active Pro subscription (no further charges).
- Raw emails: forwarded emails are deleted immediately after details are extracted; we keep only the extracted subscription details. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Changes. We may update these terms; we'll email you about material changes at least 30 days ahead. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
8. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; you may also bring proceedings in your home UK nation's courts.
